Honduras Mission website!

This site is dedicated to supporting the Honduras mission efforts of Episcopal parishes in the Atlanta area. Together with the LAMB Institute in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, members of parishes including St. David's (Roswell), St. Aidan's (Milton), Holy Family (Jaspar), Holy Spirit (Cumming), St. Peter & Paul (Marietta), St. Clements (Canton) and others work to alleviate poverty and improve the living conditions of Honduran children and families.

What is LAMB?

LAMB, the Latin American Missionary Bible Institure, was founded by Suzy McCall in 1999. Suzy, a native of Charleston, SC, has been a missionary in Honduras since 1990.

LAMB started as a missionary training program for Hondurans called to world mission. Since then, LAMB has evolved over the years in response to the needs of the local community. Missionary training continues, along with many other vital missions in Tegucigalpa. Some of the needs addressed by LAMB are:

• Education for local children in Flor del Campo
• Food and clothing for the poorest of the poor in La Cantera
• Homes for abandoned children and those whose families could not care for them

Today, LAMB's ministries in Honduras include:

• God's Littlest Lambs Daycare and School in Tegucigalpa
• Community Assistance Programs (CAP)
• God's Littlest Lambs Children's Home in San Buenaventura
